These forest are under the management of the Face Foundation. Since 1990 the Foundation has planted and protected more than 55,000 hectares of forest, including a reforestation project in Malaysia. Deforestation is responsible for approximately 20% of all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, and can account for up to 80% of emissions in developing countries! It is therefore of utmost importance that we protect our forests.
